Perfect surf retreat for groups and families wanting a private and laid back location that is very close to the beach and has access to everything you need for your stay in Tofino. The custom cedar home is very spacious and has been built with families and surfers in mind.

With vaulted ceilings, bedroom patios, private hot outdoor showers, wetsuit rinse area and a large south facing yard, Rancho Tofiño is a 3 minute walk from Tofino’s best surf beach at Cox Bay. Only a 2 minute drive to South and North Chesterman’s Beach, a 7 minute drive to Long Beach, in the Pacific Rim National Park and a 7 minute drive to downtown Tofino.

With forest views from every room, it includes a fully stocked kitchen, 65 inch TV, quality bluetooth stereo system, great wifi and much more. A custom wood build home with heated floors and a wood stove the space and yard are very private and quiet, perfect for a relaxing time nestled in the old growth forest and a great night’s sleep.

Situated within the traditional territory of the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation and surrounded by the UNESCO Clayoquot Sound Biosphere Region—a region cherished for its profound biodiversity and environmental culture. Enjoy the quiet inlets, the old growth rainforest and the rolling waves that embody this place we call home.

Walk or bike to all the Tofino beaches within minutes. Cox Bay is right across the street, a 3 minute walk from the home. Access the bike path to downtown Tofino is right at the driveway. Parking is directly at the front door.

Rancho Tofino runs along a multi-use path that runs all the way from down town Tofino (7.5 kms away), to all the beaches, out to the National Park beaches. Walk, skate or bike everywhere! Tofino provides a free bus shuttle service all summer that has a pick up spot at the info Center which is a 1 min walk away, You can also drive anywhere but some parking is paid and can be busy, especially in the summer months. We do have bikes, with surf racks for rent at the Rancho.
